Apple has banned our apps, and demoted more apps that they think are overtly sexual.

We believe it is mistake for Apple to ban VN Girls and SG Girls, as both the apps are merely rated 13+.

The apps are filled with girls, but there is no pornography.

Sorry to our users. For now, our apps are officially terminated. We would be working on alternatives (web apps that are not controlled by Apple).

My 3 "overtly sexual" apps banned

This morning, I received 2 emails from Apple app review team. Bad news, they think my apps contains “overtly sexual” content. But the apps were approved and rated 13+..

Another email was sent 2 weeks ago, so total 3 down from the 150,000 iPhone apps.

VN Girls (PAID) banned

Notice: The paid version of VN Girls has been banned by Apple. We received a letter from Apple’s appreview team.

The letter is sent to quite a few developers, as mentioned in The iPad will NOT be the Newest Way to Get Your Smut. Seems like Apple is cracking now with the arrival of iPad.

But strangely for VN Girls, the paid version has been banned, while the free version is still available.

But there is no difference in content between the free and paid apps.. so what is Apple thinking? Is the ban user-driven?

Following a techcrunch post on Yep, iPorn Is Here For The iPhone..

Hottest Girls, developed by Allen Leung, is an application that streams photos of the hottest girls. This is sorta similar to SG Girls, which streams beautiful photos of oriental girls.

The news here is that Apple has apparently decided that with the new parental controls now built into the iPhone 3.0 SDK, nudity is now okay in iPhone apps. An update today on Hottest Girls “upgraded” the pictures from girls in bikinis and lingerie, to topless and completely naked girls.

“We uploaded nude topless pics today. This is the first app to have nudity,” Hottest Girls’ developer Allen Leung tells Macenstein. Hottest Girls is now rated 17+

To clarify the future of SG Girls, the app is currently rated 12+ and it will remain to NOT have nude topless photos. Though that being said, SG Girls will have continue to add gorgeous photos of ladies that is more beautiful than nudity
